Brothers of a different breed

Life in our house has become rather loud lately. Since we lost Brandy a few weeks ago (or Lab), we have allowed Sparky, the Westie, to come and live in the house.

My little Yorkie; Buster, is not so sure he wants a brother living in the same house. Sharing his mom and dad. Or even begging food from HIS table.

The role of "head of the pack" has become a rather large goal to obtain of late. Be it a doorbell on the TV or a dog barking outside, any little thing can set them off to barking and running from front bedroom window to the window by the front door.

Couple that with Buster trying to make Sparky his "lady" it isn't going too well. My daughter is yelling at Buster, I am yelling at the dogs, my grandson is talking (as always) and the TV is going. No wonder, my dear husband spends his time in his office. Yet, he is the one that wants the Westie in the house! Go figure! ha

Personally, I couldn't leave him outside either. He is cute, and a very good dog. He behaves well and is almost potty trained. He only goes on the puddle pad IF he has too. So, I guess for Christmas this year, Buster gets a new brother - like it or not.
