We have a baby sitter for our four legged fur babies - so hubby and I are planning a trip to Legends in KC for the weekend. Even if it rains and snows we will enjoy just getting away for a bit.
I have not been to Legends - so should be fun. We will also have to eat at Jack Stack BBQ. When my niece, Anna, got married my son and husband went there, but I didn't get the chance. So we will try it again.
We will probably find more INDOOR stores to look in then walking around in the weather! That just doesn't found too fun. I wonder if I can get him to the Scrapbook Page store? hummmm might have to try!
This is funny, it is lunch time and I can hear the guys across my wall listening to a basketball game. That is a new one! lol They seem to be enjoying it though.
Lately, I haven't been able to wrap my mind around anything that takes too much thought - so didn't know if I was going to start my class on the 25th. Today I decided to go for it. It will be good to do something that keeps my mind off all that has happened the last two months. If my niece can go home and finish a training course for a new job - surely her Aunt can go to a class and do it too. Four hours on Thursday nights of lecture doesn't sound to exciting though. zzzzzz Yet, my incentive is to get paid back for the course when it is finished with a good grade. The only problem is my bedtime is 9:30 and class doesn't get out until 10 pm..... hummm am I getting old or what?
I managed to finally get my taxes done last night. Those had been driving me crazy for two weeks. I went to my accountant to let her do them, but she told me I didn't have to claim the sale of my house since we had lived in it for 5 years - yeah - so I went home and finished and filed them! ta da...... I actually got something done~that did feel good.
Well that is about it for today.
