It seems Winter takes longer and longer to pass - doesn't it? Or is it just my age? lol Not a big fan of cold weather or harsh winds that cut right through you. But I do live in Kansas.
Let's see what has been going on - my daughter is engaged, her twin brother isn't happy about it, thinks she is moving way too fast. I think he needs to just let her be happy - it is not his decision to make. But that is me. She is looking at an April wedding.
This one she will have to plan and put together herself as mom is going to Germany again. This time for 3 weeks. No Paris trips this time. However, I want to see small villages and go into Berlin and look around. Didn't get to do that last time. Maybe a ghost hunt in an old castle at night? Na, don't think so, I will leave that for TAPS to handle.
I bought myself a present. I got a new ipod Touch. I LOVE IT, once I finally figured out how to download music on it. There was a pop-up ad that I didn't close - the setup was behind that... duah ~ what a retard sometimes.
I can surf the internet, get my emails, twitter, photos, games and of course music on it. Pretty darn cool. I am sure there is lots more I haven't learned that it does.
Mom and Dad are doing great. They are getting cable tv - phone - and internet. The service they are using just isn't working well for them. Plus since the new TV conversion they are only getting 2 stations - and those will go away when they all convert. The box they bought doesn't work - they need a new antenna. So I checked for them and got a bundle with Cox. I do hope they like it. Dad will have Discovery, History, Science channels - Mom will have her Hallmark and TCM movie channels - plus a lot more.
We are switching also, to the new U-Verse that AT&T has. It is a fiber-optic system. Hope we like it. We have satellite right now and get very tired of the tv going off everytime the wind blows - especially during storms when we need it the most.
