Just finished a day and a half scrapbooking shop. It was for Breast Cancer. I finished 23 paper pages. No digi on this one. But that is okay. Digi is for another day.
Let's see - where do I start with this? Due to the fact that I am getting older - my hair seems to be grey - alot grey. I don't want to be old, and like I said I am going to fight it with all that I have.
I have been coloring my hair for years - a few opps along the way -- and this weekend was another OPPS.... a week ago I colored my hair and went a shade darker then normal.
I was dark, hubby liked it - I didn't, I thought it looked mousey - so this morning I put a warmer color on it. It was not to be too much different - just a little with more red hightlights in it. Easy right?
It was D-A-R-K with almost maroon looking highlights in it. YUK... hubby didn't like it. After we went to lunch, I ask him to drop by Walgreens so I could pick up another color.
He so gently said, I am glad you want to change it - and I don't really know how to say it - but sometimes when ladies get a little older, they tend to not get the "right" color... ha ha Yes, I have to admit he is right.
So looking around the color row - I found a "Color OPPS" kit. It says it takes your hair back to where it was before you colored it. And it was gentle enough that you can color again that same day.
I bought it, used it - as I was rinsing it out there was no color going down the drain - hello? I was afraid to look. But when I did, it did not take it back ONE coloring it took it back TWO colorings ago. Only a little lighter - I am blonde! Not really, really blonde, but blonde.
I think I will let it rest for a week and then color it again. It doesn't look so bad that I can't wear it. Just that I haven't been this blonde since the 70's, ha~!
