Monday - Sept 13th Update on Carroll Morris

The visitation list was up to about 75 as of today. Dad has not let us cut back on people that want to come in, but now he has agreed too. It tires him out and he needs to rest. So please if you come or know someone who is - have them make their visits short NO LONGER THEN 15 MINUTES - and no children please. He doesn't want little children seeing him like he is.

In lieu of flowers when the time comes - he would like for everyone to give the money as a donation to the 'Westside Free Will Baptist Church - Children's ministry'. He has always loved and had a special place in his heart for small children.

When the time comes: Send your donations to Westside Free Will Baptist Church 3310 W MacArthur c/o Childrens Church for Carroll Morris. I know this is premature but he wants me to get the word out so that the kids can benefit from it, instead of having flowers just dying.

He told me after sleeping the other day that he seen him "momma". He said she was trying to talk to him but he couldn't quit get to her. Maybe she is waiting on the other side for him.

He has times of falling asleep when visitors are talking, or he gets mixed up on his words and memory of things. This embarrasses him greatly.

He has started on the downhill path and we don't think it will belong before he gets to go home to Heaven. His daughter and grand daughter are waiting for him, and many, many more friends and family.

It saddens mom and I, our kids and relatives - but we all know that this is what he wants. He is tired and tired of "being a burden on us". The strong man he has always been is just now a whisper of the man he was. I doubt that he weights 130 pounds now.

Thank you for your prayers through all of this - please keep them coming. I think that is what is holding our family up.

Love all of us.
